Stephen P. Holmgren has been an associate attorney with Donahoo & McMenamy, P.A. since 2015. He focuses on providing exemplary service to the firm’s clients primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship and tax law. A native of Northeast Florida, he attended Allen D. Nease High School in St. Johns County and graduated from the University of Florida. He attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he earned the Book Award in Trusts and Estates, served as Editor-at-Large of the Florida Journal of International Law and completed the Estate Planning Certificate Program. Today, he resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and two dogs.
Immediately prior to joining Donahoo & McMenamy in 2015, Stephen was a law clerk for the boutique appellate law firm of Creed & Gowdy, P. A. in Jacksonville, Florida. Before that, he served as a legal extern for the Public Trust Environmental Legal Institute of Florida, Inc., in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys cheering for the Gators at every opportunity. When he’s not busy watching Gator football or basketball, he enjoys traveling, DIY home improvement projects and time with his wife and dogs.
